TRICARE

TRICARE Rehab in Orange County for Drug and Alcohol Abuse

The professional team at Casa Capri Recovery understands the journey through and out of addiction. We are proud of our status as an approved TRICARE provider, which means we know the unique situation of active-duty military members and veterans dealing with addiction and substance abuse.

We assess every individual upon arrival to determine how advanced their illness is, what their specific substance abuse treatment should be, and what program level is right for them. Casa Capri Recovery makes every effort to ensure our clients are comfortable and safe.

Active Military and Veteran Substance Abuse

We know that substance abuse and addiction can overcome anyone, no matter their walk of life, and we are particularly understanding of the stresses military members and veterans can undergo.

When working with TRICARE patients, we keep the following facts about military members and veterans in mind:

These unique service member and veteran substance abuse statistics drive our care and compassion when helping patients.

  • Exposure to violent/traumatic combat results in an increased likelihood of problematic drinking.
  • Veterans are statistically more likely to use alcohol and drink heavily than non-military individuals.
  • The statistical rate of veteran binge drinking has increased from 2013 to 2017.
  • Prescriptions of opioids to veterans increased from 17% to 24% over an eight-year period.
  • Prescription drug abuse rates have risen more rapidly among military personnel and veterans than in the general population.

Substances of Abuse commonly treated at Casa Capri Recovery

The Casa Capri Recovery team has nearly a decade of experience treating addiction and abuse of dozens of substances. The following resources will help you understand how we work with individuals suffering from:

Alcoholism

Alcoholism is a painful condition in which a person becomes mentally and physically dependent on alcohol. The emotional, psychological, and physical impacts of alcoholism can be devastating.

We are experts in alcohol rehab, guiding individuals to a new way of living by offering the skills and experiences needed to heal body, mind, and spirit. We deliver a comprehensive, therapeutic, structured, and personalized alcohol rehab program for all of our patients.

Opiates

Opioid abuse and physical dependence can start quickly, causing extreme discomfort when substance use is stopped. Even short-term opiate abuse can cause dependence. Casa Capri Recovery treats veteran and military-member opiate abuse with care and compassion.

Benzodiazepines

Benzodiazepines (such as Xanax®, Valium®, and Klonopin®) are a class of drugs typically prescribed to treat insomnia and reduce panic attacks or anxiety. These drugs can be as addictive as opiates, leading to severe dependence.

We often recommend Residential Substance Abuse Treatment for those suffering from benzodiazepine addiction.

Amphetamines

These drugs, which include meth, speed, and prescription drugs such as Adderall® and Ritalin®, cause the user to experience an intense, euphoric high characterized by high energy levels, a marked difference in sleep and appetite levels, and aggression.

Recovery can be very difficult, as amphetamines are incredibly toxic, addictive, and dangerous drugs. Users who are trying to quit often experience intense cravings. We often recommend our detox facility for individuals going through amphetamine recovery.
